Welcome to Olie Linsdell Racing!

 

   Hi, and thanks for visiting my site. My name is Olie Linsdell and I'm a young motorcycle racer from Bedfordshire. Although I'm still only twenty four years old, I have already amassed a wealth of experience racing on a wide range of bikes and on some of the most challenging tracks in the world.

   2011 was my ninth season racing and during that time I have shared feelings of huge euphoria and deep sadness with my dedicated, fun and understanding team. Unusually for a rider of my generation I chose to combine my short circuit racing with the ultimate challenge for bike and machine - Real Road Racing. This route has bought some of the standout moments of my career - Winning at the International Northwest 200, beating the legendary Robert Dunlop and setting a new lap record. I also set a World Record at the Manx GP for the biggest ever winning margin on the awesome TT mountain course, on my way to two victories as a newcomer, among others. it has also brought the hardest knocks, with two major accidents on the unforgiving Isle of Man mountain course- but I'm back with a vengence now.

2011 was a year of recovery, where I intended to have some fun, with no pressure, and started the season riding with the Classic Racing Motorcycle club, with the intention of getting back onto the modern bikes mid season, and my first pure road race at the Ulster.
