Hi, and welcome to Olie Linsdell Racing.

I had some exciting options and offers for 2008 and considered all offers carefully, but I am delighted to announce that I will be riding for Team Black Horse Yamaha, under the guidance of Team mate and Manager Ian Lougher, riding in the BSB junior Superstock series, on a Yamaha YZF-6R, and at the NorthWest 200, Isle of Man TT, and Ulster Grand Prix in the 600 Supersport and 1000 Superstock classes, on Yamaha supported machinary.

Ian is well versed in what it takes to manage a professional Race team, and with his expertise, the backing of Yamaha and Black Horse finance, and all my major sponsors I cant wait for the season to start!

I am also part of the 2008 TT advertising "Young Guns" campaign so click on the banner below to download a PDF file, and see what they're saying!. It looks really good and makes for an interesting read. Look out for the poster of my ugly Mug leading up to the TT in the major Motorcycle press!

2007 Season Resume

2007 was a fairy tale year for me. Team Olie Linsdell racing enjoyed another very successful campaign both on the short circuits and the Roads. What was initially planned to be a quiet year, with the main aim being to have fun and regain my confidence, turned into the most hectic season of my career! It resulted in me fighting for 3 championships and being at the sharp end of every race I started...

My riding on the short circuits has taken another huge leap forward and I owe most of my new found pace to things learnt from my classic racing exploits. These bikes have to be ridden SO hard all the time to get any real pace out of them and its this living 'on the edge' that I have started to apply to my modern racing. We had some fantastic races throughout the season in every arena and I ended up taking my first Championship with the National 500 classic and many podiums and wins from the rounds contested on the Triumph. I have been working hard over the winter to try and move my game on again ready for 2008.

On the Road Racing front, it really was a dream year with a fantastic victory and lap record (Stolen from none other than John McGuiness) at the International Kennedy Northwest 200, and two wins at the Manx Grand prix - more than I dared hope for. These awesome circuits, especially the mountain course, have been the biggest challenge's of my Race Career so far and have left me gagging for more in 2008!

The support we have received in 2007 was a real confidence boost, at the King of Brands race we had fifteen people supporting, and I REALLY need you to keep it up this Year!

So overall we had a brilliant last season, but none of it would be possible without the support I have received from so may people.

So in no particular order a big thanks goes to:

Hanson Building Products for their continued financial support and the truck, Flitwick Motorcycles, Wheeler Electrical for coming up trumps with the 675, Giovanni Cabassi of CR&S Motorcycles for the use of his fabulous Paton's, Held Gloves, Forcefield Body Armour, Feridax Marketing and Putoline oils. Last but not least Tuitus Media for supplying this site!

Roll on the start of the 2008 races!
